2.5 starsI had higher hopes for this is and I guess that's why I'm so disappointed.It wasn't terrible, I think it's mostly because she's 12 and I can't relate to tween feelings.. Also I expected more adventure and they were boring and were over as soon as they started. Then she went to court and that was short and pants.. I won't be reading more.. :/I keep a well stocked library-borrowed bookshelf at home, because one never knows what type of book may be needed at any given time. I found myself with a serious headcold the other day and even the Danielle Steel novel looked too complicated, so I grabbed this one. After a quick two hour read, I was even glad I had the cold!!How can you not like a novel that starts with the main character, 13 year old Desi, working at the mall's pet shop wearing a Glady the Gopher costume?
