I'm so glad I discovered these books and sincerely hope there will be a follow up.
The final part in this exciting series sees Captain Tobias Hopkins dealing with his enemies and coming to terms with his past.Questions have been answered and several events from the past have been resolved.The end of the book finds the Captain in a reflective mood, wondering where the future will take him.The final chapter is shocking but will keep your eyes glued to the page. The author writes so that you feel you're there with them and I think this is what makes a great book.I hope this

Having just finished the complete novel I wanted to urge other lovers of historical fiction to read this book. The author has certainly done his research and the attention to detail is outstanding. This last volume has elements of a thriller, with plenty of suspense and some really gory parts.
