Narration To Books Confessions of a Murder Suspect (Confessions #1)

James Patterson returns to the genre that made him famous with a #1 New York Times bestselling teen detective novel about the mysterious Angel family . . . and the dark secrets they're keeping from one another.

On the night Malcolm and Maud Angel are murdered, Tandy Angel knows just three things: 1) She was the last person to see her parents alive. 2) The police have no suspects besides Tandy and her three siblings. 3) She can't trust anyone-maybe not even herself.

As Tandy sets out to clear the family name, she begins to recall flashes of experiences long buried in her vulnerable psyche. These memories shed light on her family's dark secrets, and digging deeper into her powerful parents' affairs proves to be a disturbing and dangerous game. Who knows what any of the Angels are truly capable of?

Every once in a while I crave a good mystery whether that is an adult one or a good YA one. But let's face it, really good, keep you guessing YA mysteries and far and few in between. So when I found out that none other than Patterson himself was writing a YA mystery, I knew it was something that I needed to try and with all four books out, now was the time to do it.I love a good story where the narrator is anything but reliable. Where anything goes and nothing is ever as it seems and that is

The Angel family is one of the most prominent lineage in New York City. With their successful pharmaceutical empire, and seemingly gifted children, the name is synonymous to wealth and societal hierarchy. So when Malcolm and Maud were found dead in their sleep, it was a big deal. With no evidence of force entry, the police suspects the children responsible for the murder of their own parents. What happens next is the slow unravelling of secrets behind the childrens gifts; extra-marital

(Source: I own a copy of this book.)16-year-old Tandy and her siblings are the only people in the house the night their parents are discovered dead.Who killed Tandys parents? And why did they name her Tandoori? The characters in this were all nuts, and the storyline was pretty darn boring considering that people were dead!I didnt like Tandoori, and not just because I wasnt a fan of her name. She just said the strangest things, she thought the strangest things, her upbringing was bizarre, and she

I think Patterson deserves a big chop for this. As a fan of his work, I went into this expecting more. I had a "must-finish" syndrome with this book. There were so many times I wanted to just chuck it and move on to better things, but I kept going because I wanted to know whodunnit, even though I was pretty sure I knew who the perp was from the first few chapters and I wanted to be wrong. Surely, it couldn't be THAT easy. Spoiler alert: it was.Reading the blurb, Confessions of a Murder Suspect

Edit Jan 15 2013: Okay, to tell you the truth this book have been on my mind ever since I finished it and reviewed it. I have been debating whether to drop the rating down a star. The reason was because I kept on thinking to myself why the hell did I give this book a 4 stars? I kept thinking and couldn't think of reason why I gave it 4 stars (even with the 2/3 mind blowing parts). So therefore, I am going to drop this to a 3. End of Edit Jan 15 2013Okay, I am going to do my review a little

My first Patterson book... and I cannot accurately even say how pathetic I thought it was. Poorly written, a ridiculous plot, and all the drama of a daytime soap opera. Skip.

I didn't know how to feel about this book when I finished it. I didn't know whether I liked it or hated it. I also think I am being a little generous with the star-rating. So maybe I'm leaning more towards didn't like. But there's a reason for my mixed opinion. This book was confused. I mean it was written that way. Tandy was the daughter of the Angels, an elite family well known for the amazingly talanted offspring they produced. Every single one of there children have a talent. Tandy the
