Tilt is the second book in the Dreams of Chaos series. Even though you can pick up this book and read it without necessarily reading the first book, I highly recommend getting the first book anyway. I fell in love with the first book almost immediately, and Tilt is just as wonderful. There is a stunning array of colorful characters to both love and hate. Where the first book introduced concepts of how powerful our minds creative ability can be, Tilt deals with the struggle of learning how toa great read about things not being the way you think. when a serious of mysterious events occurs, Trotter believes it is just the actions of the gods. when the sun and moon disappear from Aevum and cause tidal waves, she sets out to reprimand the gods and fix things. but when she discovers it wasn't due to the gods and the sun has been taken elsewhere, she discovers there is more to her world than she thought. pursuing this quest to find answers and punish the man responsible, she soon
I loved Tilt. After reading Alice Will, I knew Ashley Chappell was a fantastic story teller, but the way she continued Trotter's journey was engaging and exciting. I loved the smart, action filled scenes that had me not able to put the book down. I was instantly reconnected with the characters from the first book, especially Prowler...man I wish I had a cat like that:) Trotter is a heroine I found myself constantly rooting for because she's smart and strong willed.The story begins with Trotter

So I loved the first book in this series so much and had high hopes for the sequel. I was NOT disappointed. I was super excited to read about Trotter's world again and what would happen in her journey. Honestly, the world that Chappell has created is remarkable. Very unique.
