I received a digital copy of this book from Netgalley and Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial in exchange for an honest review.I picked this book because the title really catches my eye. However, this book is really confusing. Its like random thoughts thrown together in a book. It has a world where the people have given up sleep; extraterrestrial beings; the main character, Marcos who have special gift; a mysterious girl; and most mentioned in the book, Marcoss relationship with his mother who3,5 stars
This was a very odd book. Not a bad one, just odd. Still trying to understand what I just read.

(Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC).We should have some indication of those moments after which nothing will ever be the same again, moments that punch a hole through the entire world in a similar way, creating collective memories.I love sleeping, I always have. My bodys solution to all my problems is sleep. Sad? Sleep. Stressed? Sleep. Anxious? Sleep. Depressed? Sleep, sleep, sleep. I cant read in bed because I get sleepy within a minute and have to take a nap. And I dream a
NetGalley ARC."I burst into tears. I love that expression. You dont say someone has burst into a meal or burst into a walk. You burst into tears or into laughter. I think its worth bursting into pieces for those feelings." <-- Amazing quote from this amazing book. This was a very weird book. And totally not for everyone. But I loved it. From the relationship Marcos had with his mother to the stranger, this book has you going "What's going on?!" a few times. But it's all related! Beautiful,
This book is so weird (I mean it guys) and sadly in a bad way, I didn't get the purpose of the plot nor what this is book is really about; Starting with the sleeping part: I found it kinda stupid ( excuse me) but honestly the main character talks about the struggle he is having and that he can't sleep at night easily because he can't stop thinking and he need rest blah blah ... and then he decided that he will take a pill that will make him stay 24 hours (FOREVER) without sleeping!! excuse me
Have you ever read anything that shouldve been quite disturbing but had the opposite effect on you and somehow made you feel warmth? Something like listening to your parents read you a bedtime story only theyre really reading you Trainspotting, or like sipping a cup of coffee by the fire sitting on a rocking chair while wearing a cowboy hat and speedos. This book is a real fuzzy ball, mirroring a mans shadow into a psychedelic spectrum of love and sex. Albert Espinosa creates a world not unlike
